What an honour it is for our company to be recognized and named as Company of the Year in Canada for three years in a row by ACQ Magazine. We are extremely humbled and proud for this recognition and that all the hard work that is poured into the business day after day has rendered such positive results!

GLOBE POS Systems started doing business back in 1970 and from the very beginning the aim was to provide quality service and products, while keeping customers’ interests in mind. The business started out as a small reseller of Logivision products and mainly concentrated on electronic cash registers. Then, Paul Leduc, the President of Globe POS took over the business ten years ago and continued to build upon the existing solid foundation. He set out to convert customers to computerized point of sale systems and add more products and services to better serve them, and the rest is history. Today, we not only specialize primarily in easyto-use and easy-to-manage Point of Sale Systems, but we also offer every other peripheral and accessory that a store or restaurant might need to operate.

Our product portfolio has increased drastically and includes some of the very best solution providers and brands in the market like HP and Toshiba for POS systems, Reflection and Acceo Logivision offering comprehensive and easy to use software solutions, Gozone WiFi one of the most amazing cloud-based marketing tools and most recently Pointy an ingenious way that helps local retailers be found online easily, just to name a few. Security and Data Protection continues to be a very big concern for merchants and Globe POS is making sure that employees are QIR Certified and keep following all the rules of installation and management, while also using solutions that are certified to mitigate risk.

We support a wide range of customers across the corporate spectrum, starting from grocery stores to convenience stores to pet stores, all the way to coffee shops and quick service restaurants. That is why, our extensive experience in the business in general is certainly a benefit when it comes to helping our clients decide on which products and services will best work for their environment. Most of our employees come with more than 5 years experience and have all the same mind-set, which is to deliver fantastic service. Our team is made up of very dedicated people whose sole goal is to ensure that our customers are always satisfied and while everyone pushes internet sales and orders, which can be very impersonal at the best of times, we still have a very traditional way of interacting with clients, as we still take the time to meet them in person.

This personal touch really makes a big difference as it gives the customer an opportunity to not only get to know the products we offer but ultimately gives us as a company a better idea of what challenges they will face in their daily operations and help them effectively resolve them the first time round.

Each and every customer is given the same priority, irrelevant to how big or small the sale might be and our efforts do not stop when the sale is closed or when the offices close for the day, but extends beyond to our support team who is available around the clock.

2019 is already half-way through and it’s proving to be as busy and fruitful as predicted, if not more. Retail and Hospitality still remain our firm’s core market and we continue to add wellrenowned names to our already impressive line-up of customers, like Jimmy The Greek, McEwan, Ambrosia, Global Pet Foods, Johnvince and many more. And as our customer portfolio grows, so too does the team of people that support our endeavours.

Globe POS keeps on investing a lot of time, resources and money to train ‘new’ and ‘old’ employees. A company is only as good as the people that work for it, so we continually train our staff on a regular basis to make sure that they are on top of their game with UpToDate information on new technology and trends in this ever-changing market. As Globe POS approaches its 50th year anniversary, we look forward to the future with renewed hope and excitement at what new opportunities will present themselves. At the end of the day, we have to keep sight of our values and keep taking care of our customers and keep working as if today is the last day.
